“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
After completing a BCom Degree, Erin Palm married the love of her life and exchanged the city life to become a farmer's wife. It was on the farm, being surrounded by the exquisite beauty of Limpopo’s natural environment, that her passion for photography was born. She was lead and mentored by her father, also a professional photographer, to develop and grow her photography skills and understanding of photography. Being an extroverted people's person, it was capturing pictures of people that moved her and ultimately convinced her to pursue photography as a career.
Erin is a devout Christian and it is her heart’s desire to serve the Lord through serving people. “It is fulfilling and satisfying to make people feel special, worthy and loved – and what better way to do this than to create memories for my clients that will, when they look back at their photos, make them experience happiness, thankfulness and how blessed they really are."
Erin is a member of PSSA (Photographic Society of South Africa) and she tries to attend photographic workshops and courses on a regular basis to continue growing as a photographer. She finds pleasure in using natural and artificial light to create images and her photography style is representative of her personality - bold, colourful and (a little) dramatic.
